Pei-Yu Chang

Pei-Yu Chang was born in Taipei, Taiwan, in 1979. She studied German culture and language as well as German literary studies there. After completing her master’s degree, she moved to Germany and began a doctoral project on chaos theory in literary studies at the University of Münster. During this period, she discovered her passion for book art and, in 2012, began studying communication design and illustration at Münster University of Applied Sciences. She completed the program in February 2016. Her picture books include “Der geheimnisvolle Koffer von Herrn Benjamin” and “Hundebraten süßsauer!”.
