Paula Kahumbu is a Kenyan conservationist and co-author of two children’s books about African animals. She received the National Geographic Buffett Award for her leadership in conservation in Africa. Kahumbu served as chief executive of WildlifeDirect, formerly known as the Africa Conservation Fund.
