Paul Harding, born in 1967 in Wenham, Massachusetts, is an American writer. He studied English literature and earned a Master of Fine Arts from the Iowa Writers’ Workshop. Before pursuing writing, he played drums in a rock band. His debut novel, “Tinkers,” received the Pulitzer Prize and the PEN/Robert W. Bingham Prize, among other distinctions. His novel “Sein Garten Eden” was nominated for the Booker Prize and the National Book Award in 2023.
