Patrick Charles

Patrick Charles was born in 1973 in Bournemouth, southern England. He studied English literature at Newcastle University and moved to Berlin in 1993, where he trained as a bookseller. He then worked in the book trade for ten years. From 2004 onward, he worked as a freelance author of schoolbooks and study guides, as well as a translator in the cultural sector.
