Patricia Koelle

Patricia Koelle, born in 1964, is a German-American author. Her childhood in divided Berlin and her experience of German reunification have influenced her writing. She has published novels and collections of stories, including the Baltic Sea and North Sea trilogies and the Inselgärten, Sehnsuchtswald, Glückshafen, and Wildblumen-Träume series. Her novel *Das Meer in deinem Namen* became a bestseller in 2013; the e-book reached number one on Amazon’s bestseller list for one week in November of that year.
