Pat O´Shea

Pat O’Shea (1931–2007) was born in Galway, Ireland, and was an Irish writer. Her literary debut was the novel Die Meute der Mórrígan, on which she worked for 13 years. The book drew on fairy tales and stories from her childhood, her own dreams and conversations, as well as figures from Irish mythology. The novel was published in several German editions and became a classic of children’s and young adult literature.
