Paolo Maurensig

Paolo Maurensig was born in northern Italy in 1943. Before turning to writing, he worked in various professions. His first novel, *The Lüneburg Variation* (1994), brought him wide public recognition, while its successor, *Mirror Canon* (1997), marked his international breakthrough.
