Paolo Godani, born in La Spezia in 1974, is a philosopher who taught aesthetics at the University of Macerata. His work deals with contemporary French philosophy, particularly Bergson, Foucault, Deleuze and Rancière, as well as the philosophy of literature and political theory. His books include “Sul piacere che manca” (2019), “Tratti” (2020; French edition “Traits. Une métaphysique du singulier”) and “Il corpo e il cosmo” (2021).
