Otl Aicher (1922–1991) was a German designer and co-founder of the Ulm School of Design, where he served as rector from 1962 to 1964. He gained international recognition for developing the visual identity of the 1972 Olympic Games in Munich. He also created influential corporate and institutional identities for organizations including Braun, Lufthansa, ZDF, WestLB, and Bulthaup.
