Oleksandra Keudel is a political scientist and scholar with a PhD. She worked as an assistant professor at the Kyiv School of Economics and held a postdoctoral fellowship at the Free University of Berlin. Her research focuses on local governance, knowledge production, and civil society–state relations in young democracies. Her book, “How Patronal Networks Shape Opportunities for Local Citizen Participation in a Hybrid Regime: A Comparative Analysis of Five Cities in Ukraine,” was published by ibidem. Her scholarly articles have appeared, among other journals, in “East European Politics and Societies: and Cultures” and “East European Politics”.
