Nora Krug

Nora Krug, born in Karlsruhe in 1977, studied stage design, documentary film and illustration in Liverpool, Berlin and New York. She works as an illustrator and author; her drawings and graphic narratives have appeared in publications including The New York Times, The Guardian and Le Monde diplomatique. Her graphic memoir “Heimat: A German Family Album” received several awards, including the 2019 Evangelical Book Prize, the Förderpreis of the city of Aalen, a Silver Medal from the Society of Illustrators and a Gold Medal from the Art Directors Club USA. Krug was a professor of illustration at Parsons School of Design in New York.
