Nora Engel

Nora Engel is the shared pen name of authors Danela Pietrek and Tania Krätschmar. Pietrek studied French and philosophy, German studies, theatre studies and comparative literature. She worked as a film producer, supervised various television projects, wrote screenplays and published several novels as well as a memoir. Krätschmar trained as a bookseller, studied German studies in the United States and worked as a book scout in Manhattan. From 2009 onward, she published women’s fiction; her novel Seerosensommer was adapted for television by ZDF.
