Nita Prose is a Canadian author who worked as an executive editor at Simon & Schuster Canada, where she supported numerous bestselling authors. Her mystery novel The Maid became an international success, selling more than one million copies worldwide and being published in over forty countries. It was a New York Times bestseller, received several awards, and was a finalist for the Edgar Award for Best Novel.
