Nina LaCour

Nina LaCour is an author of young adult fiction, novels for adults, and picture books. She worked as a bookseller and as a high-school English teacher, and taught creative writing and children’s and young adult literature at Hamline University. Her first young adult novel grew out of her college thesis. She received the 2018 Michael L. Printz Award for “Alles okay” (“We Are Okay”). Her young adult books became bestsellers in the United States and received numerous awards. “Wilde Minze” was her first novel for adults, and “Mama und Mami und die große Vermissung” her first picture book.
