Nina Blazon

Nina Blazon (born 1969) studied Slavic and German studies in Würzburg. After completing an editorial internship, she worked as an advertising copywriter, freelance journalist and university lecturer. From 2003 onward, she published children’s and young adult books in the genres of fantasy, historical fiction and crime. Her notable works include *Faunblut*, *Totenbraut* and *Der Winter der schwarzen Rosen*; her books have appeared several times on the SPIEGEL bestseller list. Her travels, including trips to Iceland, inspired some of her stories.
