Niall Ferguson

Niall Ferguson (born 1964) is a historian whose work focuses on financial, economic and European history. His academic career included professorships at Harvard University and Harvard Business School, as well as teaching positions at the University of Oxford, Stanford University and the London School of Economics and Political Science. He was a senior fellow at Stanford University's Hoover Institution and a faculty member at Harvard's Belfer Center. His books include »Der falsche Krieg«, »Der Aufstieg des Geldes«, »Der Westen und der Rest der Welt«, »Der Idealist« and »Doom«.
