Neil Smith

Neil Smith is a Canadian author and translator. His debut, *Bang Crunch*, was named a book of the year by The Washington Post, nominated for the Commonwealth Writers’ Prize, and won the Quebec Writers’ Federation debut prize. His novel *Das Leben nach Boo* has been translated into seven languages. It earned Smith the Hugh MacLennan Prize for Fiction and nominations for the Young Adult Book Award, the Sunburst Award, and the Prix des libraires.
