Neige Sinno was born in 1977 in the Hautes-Alpes region of France. She studied American literature, taught at a university and worked as a translator. Her publications include short stories, the novella “Le Camion” and several essays. For “Sad Tiger” (“Trauriger Tiger”), she received the Prix Femina, the Prix littéraire Le Monde, the Prix Goncourt des lycéens, the Prix Jean-Marc Roberts, the Prix littéraire Les Inrockuptibles and, in 2024, the Premio Strega Europeo. The book was a bestseller in France.
