Nathan Filer

Nathan Filer worked as a psychiatric nurse at a clinic in Bristol and as a writer, poet and filmmaker. He also taught creative writing at Bath Spa University. His debut novel, *The Shock of the Fall*, received several awards, including the Costa Book Award and the Betty Trask Prize for best first novel.
