Natalie Buchholz, born in France in 1977, studied cultural studies and aesthetic practice at the University of Hildesheim and Université Aix-Marseille. Her debut novel, *Der rote Swimmingpool*, was published in 2018, followed by *Unser Glück* and the young adult series *PS: Du bist die Beste!* about the friends Emma and Lore. Buchholz has received several awards for her literary work, including the Spiegelungen Prize in 2020. She writes books for adults and children.
