Murray Bookchin

Murray Bookchin (1921–2006) was an American libertarian socialist and theorist. The son of Jewish immigrants, he was among the early thinkers to connect anarchist theory with ecological thought. Bookchin was a co-founder and director of the Institute for Social Ecology (ISE) and a professor at Ramapo College of New Jersey.
