Monika Demirel

Monika Demirel was born in Wiesbaden in 1960 and studied translation in Heidelberg, earning a diploma in the field. She initially worked as a teacher of German as a foreign language before spending several years abroad in the travel industry. As a translator, she translated fiction, essays, and plays from Turkish.
