Mojca Kumerdej (born 1964) is a Slovenian author, philosopher, and journalist. She studied philosophy and cultural sociology at the University of Ljubljana. She made her literary debut with the parodic novel »Krst nad Triglavom«. Two collections of short stories followed and were translated into numerous languages. Her second novel, »Kronosova žetev« (»Chronos Reaps«), received the prestigious Prešeren Fund Award.
