Mohamed Wa Baile

Mohamed Wa Baile studied Islamic Studies and Peace Studies. He worked as a librarian at the University of Bern and published, among other works, the children’s book *Wie die Frauen zu ihren Rechten kamen*. He also co-edited the volumes *Racial Profiling: Struktureller Rassismus und antirassistischer Widerstand* and *Racial Profiling: Erfahrung, Wirkung, Widerstand*. His other publications include the children’s book *Lächle, und die Welt lächelt zurück* and the plays *Mohrenkopf im Weißenhof* and *Der Weiße Peter*. Wa Baile was also involved in founding anti-racist initiatives.
