Born in Pamplona in 1988, Miren Asiain Lora is an illustrator. Her work for picture books and posters has been translated into several languages and has received multiple awards. She was selected for exhibitions at the Bologna Children’s Book Fair in 2017, 2018, and 2019, and at the New York Society of Illustrators in 2019. In 2020, she received the Fundación Cuatrogatos Award. The narrative nonfiction book “How Do a Million Oysters Get to the Top of the Mountain?”, which she illustrated, was recommended by the New York Public Library as one of the best books of 2021. She has been fascinated by nature and its wonders since childhood.
