Minetaro Mochizuki

Minetaro Mochizuki, born in 1964 in Yokohama, Kanagawa, is a Japanese manga artist. His notable works include the award-winning series “Dragon Head” as well as “Bataashi Kingyo,” “Bikemen,” and “Tokyo Kaido.” His reinterpretation of Shugoro Yamamoto’s novel “Chiisakobee” received the Excellence Award at the 17th Japan Media Arts Festival in 2013. Several of his works have been adapted for film.
