Mieke Scheier

Mieke Scheier was born in 1986 in a place between Osnabrück and Oldenburg. She studied cultural studies before studying illustration at HAW Hamburg. As a freelance illustrator, she has worked for magazines and cultural institutions and has illustrated and designed numerous nonfiction and picture books. Her children’s book debut, “Passt nicht,” was partly inspired by flea markets and seek-and-find pictures.
