Mick Herron (born in 1963 in Newcastle upon Tyne) studied English literature at Oxford and is a novelist. His London-set Slow Horses series, featuring Jackson Lamb, has received awards including the CWA Gold Dagger for Best Crime Novel, the Steel Dagger for Best Thriller and the Ellery Queen Readers Award. The series was adapted for Apple TV+, and Herron’s novels have been translated into numerous languages.
