Michelle Raven was born and raised in Hanover, Germany. She studied library science and worked as a library director in Lower Saxony before becoming known as an author. Her first novel, “Canyon der Gefühle,” was published in 2002. She primarily writes romantic thrillers and romantic fantasy. In 2008, she received the DeLiA award for the best German-language romance novel; one of her books also appeared on the SPIEGEL bestseller list. Her travels through the western United States have served as inspiration for her novels.
