Michelle Marly

Michelle Marly is the pen name of German author Micaela Jary. She grew up in the worlds of music and film, influenced by her father, composer Michael Jary. After training as an editor, she worked for various magazines, as a show-business reporter and at the theatre. She later spent an extended period in Paris, where she began writing novels. Her notable books include “Mademoiselle Coco und der Duft der Liebe,” “Madame Piaf und das Lied der Liebe,” “Romy und der Weg nach Paris,” and “Die Diva,” about Maria Callas. Several of her novels have been translated into numerous languages.
