Michel Odent

Michel Odent (born 1930) is a French physician and obstetrician. He conducted research for the World Health Organization on home births in industrialized countries. He wrote numerous books, which were translated into many languages; among his best-known works is *The Gentle Birth* (*Die sanfte Geburt*).
