Michaela Pfadenhauer

Michaela Pfadenhauer (born 1968, Dr. phil.) is a sociologist who has served as a professor of culture and knowledge at the University of Vienna’s Institute of Sociology. Her academic work focuses on the sociology of knowledge, social constructivism, cultural and media change, mediatization and social robotics, as well as the sociology of professionalism and competence. Her fields of research also include ethnographic and interpretive social research.
