Michael Schmidt-Salomon (born 1967) is a German philosopher and writer. He received his doctorate in philosophy in Trier in 1997 and was awarded an honorary doctorate by the Technical University of Liberec in 2019. He served as spokesperson of the board of the Giordano Bruno Foundation for Humanism and Enlightenment. His books include *Beyond Good and Evil*, *Leibniz Was Not a Butter Cookie* (with Lea Salomon), *No Power to the Fools*, *Hope for Humanity*, *The Limits of Tolerance* and *Relax!*.
