Michael Schilling

Michael Schilling was Professor of Older German Literature at the Otto von Guericke University Magdeburg until his retirement. His research focused on German and Latin literature of the Middle Ages and the Early Modern period. A particular area of interest was the intermedial relationship between image and text, including illustrated manuscripts, emblem books, and illustrated publications.
