Michael Philipp (born 1946) is a German psychiatrist and author. He worked as a professor of psychiatry at the University of Mainz and subsequently spent 20 years as the founding medical director of a psychiatric hospital in Landshut. In addition to more than 200 scientific articles, he published several specialist books. His first crime novel set in Landshut, “Mörderischer März,” appeared in 2018 and drew on experiences from his clinical work. It was followed by “Der Pinselmörder,” “Der Absturz,” and “Erschlagen – Mord am Golfplatz.”
