Michael Ondaatje

Michael Ondaatje was born in Sri Lanka in 1943. After attending school in England, he moved to Canada in 1962. He published novels and poetry. His novel The English Patient won the 1992 Booker Prize, and in 2018 it received the Golden Man Booker Prize. His other notable novels include Anil’s Ghost, Divisadero, The Cat’s Table and Warlight.
