Michael J. Sandel

Michael J. Sandel (born 1953) is a political philosopher. He studied at Oxford and began teaching at Harvard University in 1980. He became widely known in part through his lecture series on justice, which reached an audience of millions online. His books addressed ethics, justice, democracy, and capitalism. His work What Money Can't Buy was published internationally as a bestseller, and his books appeared in translations in 27 languages.
