Michael Herzig

Michael Herzig, born in Bern in 1965, studied history and business administration. In the 1990s, he served as the City of Zurich’s drug commissioner and later spent ten years directing social-medical institutions, including municipal drug-support services for marginalized people. He also worked as a lecturer in social work and as an organizational consultant. As an author, he published four crime novels and one other novel, as well as short stories, radio plays, screenplays and nonfiction. His work has received several awards.
