Michael Eric Dyson

Michael Eric Dyson is an American author, sociologist, and ordained Baptist preacher. He was a professor of sociology at Georgetown University, a columnist for The New York Times, and the host of “The Michael Eric Dyson Show.” Dyson has published numerous books on race, culture, and politics in the United States, including works on Martin Luther King Jr. and Jay-Z, as well as “Tears We Cannot Stop: A Sermon to White America.” Ebony magazine named him one of the 100 most influential African Americans.
