Michael Ebert

Michael Ebert, born in Freiburg in 1974, worked as a journalist and served as editor-in-chief of Süddeutsche Zeitung Magazin. He received several awards for his journalistic work. As a novelist, he made his debut with *Nicht von dieser Welt*, followed by *Die Regenwahrscheinlichkeit beträgt null Prozent*. His debut novel draws on the unusual setting of his own childhood: a hospital in a small town in southern Germany.
