Meritxell Janina Piel

Meritxell Janina Piel studied history and philosophy in Düsseldorf, where she also earned a doctorate in philosophy. Since 2014, she has worked as a freelance translator and language teacher. Her translations have been nominated several times for the German Youth Literature Prize; her translation of “The Last Voyage of the Demeter” was among the works nominated in 2021.
