Megan Cooley Peterson is an author and editor. She has written more than eighty nonfiction books for children on a wide range of topics. “The Liar’s Daughter” was her first young adult novel. As a teenager, she belonged to a cult-like church community whose teachings were not meant to be questioned, but she questioned them nonetheless.
