Meg Lowman

Meg Lowman, born in New York in 1953, is a biologist, activist, and author. She studied at the University of Aberdeen in Scotland and earned her doctorate from the University of Sydney in Australia. She is internationally known for her research on forest ecosystems, particularly tree canopies. Her research across all continents over more than three decades is regarded as pioneering scientific work.
