Maxwell Maltz
Author · 15 books
Dr. Maxwell Maltz worked as a cosmetic surgeon in the United States. While treating his patients, he observed that cosmetic surgery did not improve the self-esteem of all of them. He subsequently developed a visualization technique for improving self-image and formulated his theory of “success conditioning.” After nearly a decade of counseling and research, he published his findings in 1960 in his best-known work, “Psycho-Cybernetics.”
