Maximilian Gege

Maximilian Gege is a German finance and controlling expert and environmental manager. He worked in business and was one of the co-founders, in 1984, of the German Environmental Management Association (B.A.U.M. e. V.). He chaired the association’s board until 2020. Gege also served as an honorary professor of environmental sciences at the University of Lüneburg, now Leuphana University Lüneburg. He received several awards for his work in corporate environmental protection and sustainable business, including recognition connected with the “Solar – na klar!” campaign for renewable energy.
