Max Strohe

Max Strohe, born in Bonn in 1982, is a German chef and author. He trained at the Wendelinusstube in Sinzig-Koisdorf and completed his training at the Hotel-Restaurant Hohenzollern in Bad Neuenahr-Ahrweiler. In 2015, he opened the Berlin restaurant tulus lotrek with Ilona Scholl; it was awarded its first Michelin star in 2017. During the COVID-19 pandemic, Strohe initiated the relief campaign “Kochen für Helden” (“Cooking for Heroes”) in 2020 and received the Federal Cross of Merit for it. He appeared on television, including the cooking show “Kitchen Impossible.” His first book, “Kochen am offenen Herzen,” was published in 2022.
