Max Brooks

Max Brooks is the author of the Minecraft novel *The Island* and the novel *World War Z*, which was adapted into a 2013 film starring Brad Pitt. His work also includes the graphic novel *The Harlem Hellfighters*, a New York Times bestseller. Brooks also worked as a security expert for the U.S. military.
