Max Barry

Max Barry, born in 1973, is an Australian writer. Before turning to novel writing, he worked at Hewlett-Packard and contributed to various software projects. He gained international recognition with his debut novel, *Jennifer Government* (published in German as *Logoland*), a satire of a future dominated by multinational corporations. He also developed the online game *NationStates*.
