Maurice Hamilton is a British author and journalist specializing in motor sport. He has written more than 25 books on the subject and has received awards for his work. Over the course of his career, he attended more than 500 Formula One Grands Prix. In 1976, he witnessed Niki Lauda’s serious accident at the Nürburgring. Hamilton commentated on Formula One races for BBC Radio 5 Live for around 20 years and served as the London Observer’s motor-sport expert from 1990 to 2010.
