Matthias Sachau

Matthias Sachau was born in Munich in 1969. He studied architecture in Berlin and subsequently worked at architectural firms in Berlin and London, including Zaha Hadid’s practice. Around the turn of the millennium, he moved into communications, working as a concept developer and copywriter before beginning to write books. His debut novel, „Schief gewickelt“, was published in 2006. He went on to publish further humorous novels, including „Kaltduscher“, „Linksaufsteher“ and „Wir tun es für Geld“, as well as the children’s and young adult book „Das Geheimnis von Tylandor“. „Wir tun es für Geld“ was adapted for German television by ARD in 2014.
